# 3  Half Up

This is one of my favorite ways to style my hair, especially when it's styled curly to begin with. Plus, Valentine's Day is coming! I'm very sure this hairstyle would answer your dilemma how to look lovely for a date.
All you need is a few good bobby pins and hairspray!

1. Use a large-barrel curling iron to create loose curls all around your head, from the ears down.

2. Part your hair in the middle, and use your fingers to loosen and separate the curls.

3. Starting halfway down the part, begin spritzing your roots with hairspray. Continue to the crown.

4. To create height and volume, tease the sprayed hair with a fine-tooth comb.

5. Use a brush to gently smooth the teased hair, and gather the sides up into a half ponytail.

6. Secure the sides with pins, then use your fingers to gently shape the curls into place.

7. End with shine spray. 

Voila! A hairdo worthy of Brigitte Bardot.

Sea Side Vibrance

Combining light green / apple green and coral / peach is my favorite. They totally complement an outfit  && of course those colors are just lovely for summer.

Best Trends of 2012

New York, London, Milan, and Paris — all the best trends, from all the Spring 2012 collections. 

THE BRA-TOP

Many designers showed retro-style bras worn as tops, often paired with a pencil or flared skirt.

THE DOILY LACE
Cut-out floral patterns and large-scale lace was everywhere.

THE CLEAR SHOES
Transparent vinyl was the material of choice for everything from Western-tinged booties to high-heeled oxfords.

THE ROUND SHOULDER
The classic '50s and '60s couture silhouettes of Balenciaga and Dior were out in full force — especially in the form of round-shouldered jackets.

THE BLACK&WHITE
White looked super-crisp, especially when accented with bold black lines.

THE ZIGZAG and CHEVRONS
Whether bold, graphic, or subtle; Missoni-style lines are the new stripes.

Pleats in every form — especially accordion and delicate plissé — were prominent.
